Ministering
"We are blessed as we love God and our neighbors, share the gospel, and invite others to come and see, to come and help, and to come and belong."
"Ministering means serving others as the Savior did. He loved, taught, prayed for, comforted and blessed those around Him. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to minister to God's children the way He would."
President Nelson taught: "When we love God with all our hearts, He turns our hearts to the well-being of others in a beautiful, virtuous cycle...Giving help to others -making a conscientious effort to care about others as much as or more than we care about ourselves is our joy. Living the second great commandment is key to becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ."
"Nevertheless, ye shall minister unto him and shall pray for him... for behold I know my sheep, and they are numbered. For unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I will heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them." (3 Nephi 18:30-32)
Temple & Family History Work
President Nelson said: "It is now time that we each implement extraordinary measures, perhaps measures we have never taken before to strengthen our personal spiritual foundations... The temple lies at the center of strengthening our faith and spiritual fortitude because the Savior and His doctrine are the very heart of the temple... Everything we believe and every promise God has made to His covenant people come together in the temple." (The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation - October 2021)
